Aslubun Beach
This beach is stluated south east of Saumlaki, at the entrance of Saumlaki Harbour. It has a white sandy beach, beautiful panorama with some various fishes and corals an ideal place for fishing and snorkeling From this beach
Nusmomalin Tubun Beach
This beach is situated 7 kms south east of Saumlaki between the Sifnana and Lauran villages. It has 1 km long and 10 mtrs wide white sandy beach with steep cliffs on the shoreline, calm water, beautiful panorama, various fishes and coral.
Kiloon, Nama, and Wetir beaches
These three white sandy beaches of about 8 kms long are located on the village of Romean 14 miles south of Larat. Approximately 50 mtrs offshore, there are drop-offs until 100 to 250 mtrs depth. The Oravruan strait between the villages of Romean and Kelaan on the island of Larat, has a very strong current and between June and August there are many groups of marlin fishes passed by the strait. On that time, the local people like to organize a marlin traditional fishing tournament using tradisional canoes only.
The regulations of the tournament among others is that the fishes can only be killed with the fist or oar, because it is taboo to use any sharp weapons. During turbulent waves periods between December and February, the Nama beach become wider to the sea along the shore line and forms an atoll, a hiding place for local motorboats.
Nukaha Beach
It is on an island located 16 miles from Larat, east of Fordata island. This island is a 3 kms by 200 mtrs small atoll island, surrounded by white sandy beach with casuarinas grow on it. Low tides could form another new beach line 2 kms down its original beach line. There are various fishes and corals in the water which make the spot ideal for fishing or diving. It could be reached by chartered motor boats from Larat or Romean.
