Mary Cave
This cave is a praying and a pilgrimage spot for the Catholics of Saumlaki in the months of May and October, situated next to the Olilit Lama village. It has a 2 mtr high Mary statue constructed under the cave on 19 mtrs high cliff. This spot could be reached by public transportation from Saumlaki.
Gove (NT-Australia) - Saumlaki Adventure Race
From 1995 to 1998, there was an annual sailing adventure race event in order to celebrate the Indonesian Independence Anniversary. The race is mostly adventurous, non-competitive, has been participated by 5 to 10 yachts started from Gove and finished in Saumlaki.
Batardity Memorial
This statue symbolizes the honor of the Tanimbarese woman in full traditional dressed and accessories, embracing a small drum (tifa). The statue was built on a 3 x 4 mtrs cliff. The height of the memorial is 2.5 mtrs, situated only 5 minutes walking from Larat harbour.
Turn bur
This village is sittuated 14 km from Saumlaki, and is well known for its carvings, produced by the village's craftsmen The carvings symbolize the life of the people- The statues are known as "Palling Turnbur" (Tumbdr Statues).
